The Niger Delta Standard is a newspaper like none other. We are a national newspaper with a regional bias for the Niger Delta, purposefully driven by the need for empowerment of the Niger Delta.

Thus in an era when information is the key to economic success, it falls to us to pave the roads that will guide the Niger Delta to its destiny amongst globally reckoned editorials.


Global Perspectives
The Niger Delta Standard is written decisively to correct and support varying global perspectives as they concern the Niger-Delta Region. With the intervention of innovation in transportation, continental movement exists without old barriers; invariably this would mean constant inflow and outflow of information.

Our duty is to ensure accuracy in this movement of information and hence to be the official voice of the Niger Delta.


Focus
The Niger Delta Standard understands that there are varying levels comprehension within the geographical boundaries of the Niger Delta and the nation.

As such it is our focus to provide not only comprehendible news coverage, but representative information that would expiate the true nature of the Niger Delta and its populace.


The Future
As stated our primary objective is to become the unanimous voice of the Niger Delta people. We are only but a few years young in operation, but it is our ambition to bring, revolution of concept and innovation into the industry.

Concept in sense that we are the first of our kind in the industry and innovation in the sense that we are constantly embracing an interactive mode of news dissemination. That is why we are the Niger Delta Standard.
